Easy Cottage Cheese Donuts


• 8 Oz. Cottage Cheese

• 3 eggs

• 1/2 Cup Flour

• 2 Tbsp. Sugar

• 1 Tsp. Baking Soda

• 1 Tsp. Grated Lemon Zest

•  1/2 Tsp. Vanilla Extract

• Vegetable Oil For Frying


Place cottage cheese in a bowl. Add 3 eggs, the flour, sugar, baking soda, vanilla extract and the lemon zest and stir to combine. Heat the oil to medium temperature. With the help of 2 teaspoons, work in batches, scoop and drop little balls into the hot oil and fry each side until golden brown, it takes about 4-5 minutes. Transfer the donuts to the paper towel. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with jam of your choice.
